I maintain that Cracked Armor is amazing and probably the most underrated condition out there as a whole.
This. I love it in HM PvE. It ALWAYS comes in handy, because HM critters have heavy armour-boosts, and it really helps when you're up against warriors, paras or rangers.

As for most underrated, IDK, I think Weakness could match it - destroys those hard-hitting melee classes in PvE.

It is latest condition added to game. That should be enough to tell you it is going to be pretty effective and maybe even imba.

I love Cracked Armor. I also like slutty armors, but that's a whole new topic.

In Hard mode, cracked armor + epidemic is great against the mobs--those were always in my hero bars somehow. It's not really necessary in Normal mode, but it can certainly make the process go faster.

Well, I'll just a little to the sentiments that Cracked Armor is a good condition, for any location (PvE and PvP). It allows you to bypass the extra armor monsters in PvE have when above level 20, or of bosses that have increases stats. It also allows for more damage to those shield toting casters in PvP. But all that has been said already.

What I haven't seen mentioned is the usefulness it has with various skills. Sure, you may not be able to supply Cracked Armor from most classes, but there are secondaries, and unless solo farming, team members. Warrior has a nice skill called Body Blow that makes nice use of Cracked Armor to deal large damage and supply a Deep Wound, another outstanding condition. Ranger has Body Shot, which can benefit from the energy boost. There are others, but you can see that even if you can't supply Deep Wound, you can benefit from it if someone else can supply it for you. And it isn't hard for a secondary class to use 1 skill for that if you want. I have run a W/N build in PvE making use of Body Blow and Weaken Armor to good effect. And I know a friend who uses Sundering Weapon and Body Shot on his Ranger.

Cracked armor is an important part of my PvE condition spreading or melee hate mesmer bars. As said before, it's good for hard mode.

Cracked Armor + Weakness = most important conditions for HM imo. Daze is good but preventing melee damage ( hello 150+ normal attack crits ) and damage booster ( except armor ignoring ofc ) .... it owns everything.

Anything that drops warrior's AL to that of a caster's is good in my book.

yea and those moments happen about once every 100,000 times. on paper, daze sounds like a very dangerous condition, but in actual (pvp) gameplay it just doesnt work. btw 1/4s spells says hai. daze is only good in pve--and thats mostly only because technobabble is an imba skill.
